About this collection
Every name begins with a letter. These are the twenty-eight letters of the Arabic alphabet, each cast as a ring in solid 18k gold, 1.17g to 2.23g.
The letterform is the ring — not an engraving on a band, but the shape of the letter itself carrying the finger. Alif, Baa, Taa through to Yaa, with the dots cast as small cubes and the stroke sweeping into the band.
They are simple, lightweight rings, and that is the point: what makes one worth giving is whose letter it is. If you are not sure which letter a name begins with, there is a finder on our homepage — type the name in English and it will show you the letter and the ring, without asking you how it is spelled.
Sizes aren't marked on the rings — each one is measured on our ring sizer and the size is listed on the product page. Resizing is free and most rings can be resized — a few designs can't, so if you need a different size, message us before you order.
